Danielle Beausoleil and her family on the Rotary Trail at the Vedder River

Meet Danielle.

Danielle Beausoleil is a proud, long-time resident of Chilliwack who believes that strong communities are built by people who step up, work together, and give back. As a mother of two, small business owner, entrepreneur, and residential and commercial real estate advisor, Danielle keenly understands both the exciting opportunities and the serious challenges facing local families, businesses, and our neighbourhoods.

Danielle holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration, and she has built a career centered on helping people, solving problems, and creating connections. Through her work, she has partnered with local businesses, developers, non-profit organizations, and community groups, earning a reputation as someone who brings people together to find practical, common-sense solutions.

Community service has always been at the heart of Danielle's life. A dedicated Rotarian for nearly 15 years, she has participated in countless fundraising initiatives supporting both local and international projects. She has also served on the boards of Community Futures South Fraser and the Chilliwack Academy of Music, helping strengthen organizations that contribute to the region's economic vitality and cultural life. Danielle has also volunteered for many years with community initiatives such as All Is Bright and For This City, believing that service is one of the most meaningful ways to build a stronger, more connected community.

Danielle is passionate about supporting local businesses, encouraging responsible economic growth, and ensuring Chilliwack remains a place where families can thrive. She believes local government should listen first, spend taxpayers' money wisely, and make decisions with transparency, integrity, and accountability. As a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility, Danielle is committed to thoughtful planning and practical leadership that puts residents at the centre of every decision.

Danielle is proud to call Chilliwack home. She's running for City Council because she is dedicated to helping build an even stronger future for the city she loves.

  • "But what has impressed me most has been watching Danielle grow as a leader."

I am very pleased to offer my endorsement of my longtime friend, Danielle Beausoleil, in her campaign for Chilliwack City Council.

I have known Danielle for many years, and one of the things I have always respected about her is that her commitment to Chilliwack did not begin with a decision to run for office. She has been there at ground zero, working, advocating and caring about this community long before there was ever a campaign sign with her name on it.

I have seen Danielle’s long-standing commitment to downtown Chilliwack firsthand. She understands that a strong downtown is about more than buildings and businesses; it is about people, community, safety, belonging, economic opportunity, and creating a place where people want to live, work, and spend time. Danielle has contributed to these conversations and effortsfor years.

But what has impressed me most has been watching Danielle grow as a leader.

Over the years, I have watched her gain experience, confidence and an increasingly strong understanding of how to bring people together. She listens. She asks questions. She is willing to speak up when something matters, but she also understands that leadership requires working with people who may see things differently.

Municipal government needs people who understand their community from the ground up. It needs people who are prepared to do the work, listen to residents, make difficult decisions and keep their focus on what will make Chilliwack an even better community in the years ahead.

I believe Danielle has grown into exactly that kind of leader.

Having known her for so long and having seen her commitment firsthand, I am proud to support Danielle Beausoleil for Chilliwack City Council. I believe she will bring experience, energy, compassion and a genuine love for this community to City Hall.

  • "She showed up, worked hard, and got things done."

I had the pleasure of serving alongside Danielle Beausoleil on the Board of Directors of the Chilliwack Academy of Music, where we worked together on several fundraising events.

Danielle is one of those people who knows how to make things happen. She can see the big picture, bring supporters and sponsors on board, plan an event, and make sure all the details come together. But what I appreciated most about working with Danielle was that she was just as willing to roll up her sleeves and do whatever needed to be done. Whether that meant scooping ice cream, cleaning up at the end of the night, reaching out to a sponsor, or solving a last minute problem, Danielle jumped right in.

When Danielle was asked to help, she didn’t just lend her name or offer ideas. She showed up, worked hard, and got things done. She brought energy, organization, and a genuine commitment to everything she took on.

I saw firsthand Danielle’s ability to bring people together around a goal and then work right alongside them to make it happen. She is someone who steps in, finds a way forward, and gets to work. That combination of leadership and willingness to do the work is something I have always admired about her.

  • "Danielle has deep roots in Chilliwack"

I had the opportunity to work closely with Danielle for approximately three years while serving as her Managing Broker. During that time, I came to know her as a thoughtful, capable and highly professional person who approaches both business and relationships with integrity.

Danielle has built a successful career in real estate while also becoming an experienced commercial and residential real estate investor. She understands business, property ownership and the importance of making careful, well informed decisions. Just as importantly, she is someone who genuinely cares about people. She is kind, approachable, generous with her time and naturally inclined to mentor and encourage those around her.

Danielle has deep roots in Chilliwack, where she has built her business, raised her family and maintained strong connections to the community. Over the years, our professional relationship has also developed into a friendship, and I have always appreciated her sense of humour, her straightforward nature and her ability to bring both warmth and good judgment to the table.

  • "She doesn’t simply talk about community; she participates in it, contributes to it, and looks for ways to make it stronger."

I first met Danielle Beausoleil in January 2023 when she became a client of mine. Over the years, that relationship has grown into a wonderful friendship, and more recently, I have also had the opportunity to work with Danielle professionally as my business realtor.

Knowing Danielle in these different areas of my life has given me the opportunity to see firsthand the qualities she brings to everything she does. She is incredibly detail-oriented, compassionate, hardworking, and genuinely community focused.

Over the past year, Danielle has advised and supported me through the process of finding and securing a long-term lease for my new business location in Chilliwack. It was a significant decision for me as a business owner, and I came to truly value Danielle’s ability to look beyond the immediate transaction. She listened, asked the right questions, paid attention to the details, and understood that the decisions being made weren’t simply about finding a space—they were about the long-term future of my business.

That same level of care extends well beyond her professional life. Danielle is deeply involved in our community and genuinely cares about the people who live and build their lives here. She doesn’t simply talk about community; she participates in it, contributes to it, and looks for ways to make it stronger.

What I have come to appreciate most about Danielle is that she leads with both her head and her heart. She is thoughtful and thorough, but she is also compassionate. She listens. She cares. And when she commits to something, she follows through.

As a friend, a fellow businesswoman, and someone who is also building a future here in Chilliwack, those are exactly the qualities I want to see represented on our City Council.

I am incredibly proud to support Danielle Beausoleil for Chilliwack City Council.

  • "Danielle is someone who listens. "

My name is Kim Gemmell, and I feel it’s important to support my friend Danielle Beausoleil for Chilliwack City Council for multiple reasons. As the third generation of family residing in Chilliwack, I take great pride in living here and have the desire to support the people who will make it their main focus to ensure our city is a place where we are proud to live.

I know Danielle personally, and what impresses me most is that her commitment to our community didn’t begin when she decided to run for Council. She has been giving back and serving Chilliwack for 15 years through Rotary and her community involvement. This isn’t something new for Danielle, it’s simply who she is.

She is intelligent, hardworking and incredibly capable. With her business experience and MBA, she understands budgets, financial responsibility, economic development and the importance of supporting our local businesses and entrepreneurs.

But qualifications on paper only tell part of the story.

Danielle is someone who listens. She brings people together. She looks for solutions instead of simply talking about problems, and when she commits to something, she follows through. She is approachable, practical and genuinely cares about the people who call Chilliwack home.

I think one of the best things I can say about Danielle is this:

She isn’t getting involved in our community because she’s running for City Council. She’s running for City Council because she has already spent years being involved in and giving back to our community. This is a natural next step for Danielle to further her dedication to support and enhance the well being of Chilliwack’s residents.

Chilliwack is growing and changing, and we need people at the Council table who can balance that growth with common sense, fiscal responsibility and genuine care for the community we all love.

I know Danielle. I know her character, her work ethic and her heart. I admire her determination to get things done and stand her ground at opposition when needed. These are strengths we need for members on council.

She definitely has my vote, and I’m very proud to give her my support.

  • "Chilliwack would be well served by Danielle Beausoleil on council."

I've known Danielle Beausoleil for about 15 years — inside real estate and outside of it. In that time I've watched her in a lot of rooms, and she's the same person in every one of them.

Danielle has a can-do attitude that isn't a slogan, it's a habit. Tell her something can't be done and she'll go find the way it can. She sees the big picture, she builds the plan, and then — this is the part that separates her — she does the work herself. She doesn't lend her name and step back. She shows up early, stays late, and picks up whatever needs picking up.

She also brings people with her. Danielle has an ability to get others around a goal, keep them there, and make them glad they came. In business, that's rare. In public service, it's everything.

What I admire most is her character when nobody's watching. Straight answers. Follows through. Treats people well whether they can do anything for her or not. Those are the qualities I'd want in someone making decisions about my community's future.

Chilliwack would be well served by Danielle Beausoleil on council. She has my full endorsement.
